Nearly One Million Children in U.S. Potentially Misdiagnosed With ADHD

Here is a great Article that explains how young people have been given a diagnosis of ADHD because of their behavior.   Many of these children being diagnosed as ADD/ADHD  are being diagnosed by their teachers as they start school.   Schools will often push the issue of diagnosing children as ADD/ADHD because they are disruptive to the classroom.  Behavioral problem for these younger children is very frequently due to the maturity level for their age.   Resorting to drugs to control behavior at this age can have life-long consequences.
